I've been a long time admirer of Baserange, late last year I finally made my first Baserange purchase and it's safe to say I haven't looked back since. Baserange is now fast becoming a new favourite brand of mine. With their no frills and sustainable approach to modern basics what's not to like? The SS16 muted nudes, worn here, lend themselves perfectly to the natural and soft shapes. When Finch invited me to style some of the S/S pieces I immediately jumped at the chance to play around with the Baserange bits, I love how a simple head to toe nude look makes a modest statement.
If you live in Norwich and haven't heard about FINCH, where have you been?!
FINCH is a contemporary womenswear shop launching on March 17th. To say I'm excited would be an understatement. FINCH is going to be something new and different for the ladies of Norwich, when it comes to contemporary and high end fashion men in Norwich are spoilt for choice (considering how small this city is) now it's time for us girls to have somewhere new to call our own.
Sophie, the founder, kindly invited me to preview the shop and stock before the highly anticipated launch. Ladies you will not be disappointed!
FINCH will be stocking a mix of contemporary designers including Wood Wood, Peter Jensen and Livia Arena along with a carefully curated selection of hand picked vintage. Sophie has found some absolute gems! Think less argyle jumpers more original 60's skirts and YSL. The contemporary and vintage sit together perfectly, her choice of palette for this spring is beautiful lots of electric blue, soft peachy pinks and perfect greys.
For Finch this is just the beginning, it's exactly what's missing from this city. From speaking to Sophie regarding AW15 plans and even further ahead there's even more to look forward to! I know Norwich will love Finch! Hopefully this small taster will suffice till the launch, this baby blue Wood Wood sweater is top of my list come payday.
