Okay, so I know the clocks haven't changed yet (one more month to go!) but those little signs of spring are starting to rear their head. You can't move for Cherry Blossom on Instagram right now! I feel like I couldn't be more British if I tried by yabbering on about the weather but last weekend the temperatures hit double figures, which seemed positively tropical in comparison to the Arctic conditions we've recently endured. In fact, it felt so balmy that I left my scarf at home and braved the outdoors in a risky, two layers. Unfortunately, I have partaken in zero spring shopping, so half of this outfit is made up of old season items that are no longer available. Annoying, I know, and it's another idea I want to touch on in a future post similar to this discussion here. Talking about the difficulties of sharing outfits that are long gone, something of which I do a lot on my Instagram. I know it peeves me when I fall in love with a bloggers outfit only to find all the items are sold out or worse, no longer exist! But that's another discussion, for another day. Pay day is fast approaching (man, I love a short month!) and I have my eye on serveral spring/summer investments along with other high street bits for the warmer months so expect to see some fresh outfits here, on the blog, soon!
For now, let's just rejoice in the thought that some day, real soon, we will be able to leave the house without resembling an Alaskan inhabitant.
I'd like to say a MASSIVE thank you to everyone who took the time to comment on my previous post. I've been riding on such a high from your response, which completely surpassed all my expectations (hence the small hiatus) that it's given me great confidence and drive to create more posts of a similar nature.
