Dean and I are currently half way through a 3 week vacation in Australia. Our first week has consisted of copious amounts of sunbathing and jumping waves in the sea. With the water reaching temperatures of mid 20's, it makes a pleasant change being able to swim in the sea comfortably unlike the North Sea's freezing temperatures back home. We also took a trip to our favourite coastal town, Byron Bay. If you've ever been to Byron Bay then you will understand it's indescribable ability to capture ones heart and leave you with the longing to never leave. Our trip including a surprise proposal from Dean at our favourite spot, Byron Bay lighthouse, and of course I said yes!
My initial plan, over this 3 week holiday, was to completely go cold turkey on the blog, Instagram and Twitter but with a lot of free down time available in the evenings, alongside reading, I've been using it to tweet and post a few bits here and there. Plus, if I'd waited till my return to the UK to begin compiling photo diaries, I hate to think how many photos I'd have to sift through. Below is a small collection [or should I say cull, there was 400+ to start with!] of images from our first week down under.
