Introducing: The Tunic Shirt
With the rise of easy to wear Judo inspired clothes this spring/summer I've been in pursuit of an easy alternative to the standard (but still staple) button down white shirt. I present to you: The Tunic Shirt.
The kimono sleeves and open neck line of this shirt make it extremely comfortable to wear, paired with culottes is my preferred styling. (much to my boyfriends dismay)
The shirt in question is by in-grid, a beautiful new brand making white minimal shirts for women.
In-grid is the partnership and collaboration of two different disciplines, a graphic designer and a tailor who have joined forces to create detail driven, quiet, sculptural white garments. Their obsession with detail is clear to see in the finishing on the neckline and the overlapped seam on the sleeves, they are second to none.
There is longevity in this shirt, it fits in my wardrobe alongside a plethora of skirts, shorts and trousers to style with it.
