Kantata, a global leader in technology for professional services, has announced the winners of the 2024 Kantata Catalyst Awards during the recent Kantata Converge user conference. These awards recognise customers who have significantly impacted their clients and the industry, highlighting the role of innovation in advancing the professional services sector.
The Kantata Catalyst Awards aim to showcase the achievements of customers who have demonstrated exceptional leadership and commitment to change, all while utilising Kantata’s cutting-edge platform for project management, resource optimisation, and client satisfaction. “This year, we honour professionals and teams who have implemented bold strategies and overcome industry challenges,” said Matt Schlessman, Vice President of Global Customer Success at Kantata. This year’s winners were selected based on their measurable outcomes and positive business impact, with awards presented in three main categories: Client Experience Champion, Champion of Innovation, and Results Champion.
In the Client Experience Champion category, Sylvia Isbell, Principal Business Analyst at Esri, was recognised for her pivotal role in enhancing the client experience. Through her participation in the Co-Innovation Councils with Kantata Product Management, Isbell has contributed not only to improvements for her own users but also for the broader Kantata user community.
The Champion of Innovation award went to Mike Wilson-Phillips, Head of Delivery Operations at Qodea. His efforts in integrating teams and technology during the merger of Appsbroker and CTS have led to enhanced resource management, improved management information (MI) reporting, and greater project visibility across various teams.
In the Results Champions category, two notable recipients were acknowledged. Scott Lee, Director of Business Applications at Frank, Rimerman + Co. LLP, was celebrated for spearheading a significant transformation effort using Kantata’s platform at his previous company. This initiative involved consolidating multiple systems, resulting in substantial cost savings and improved operational efficiency across departments.
Additionally, Ryan O’Shea, Vice President of Customer Services at Digital.ai, was honoured for his successful efforts in driving a notable increase in billable utilisation within his organisation. His leadership has enabled the company to surpass its productivity goals, showcasing the tangible benefits of leveraging Kantata’s technology.
