Luxury jewellery brand David Yurman has announced Mexican actress and singer Eiza González as its newest global ambassador for its Spring 2025 Sculpted Cable campaign. González, who is known for her roles in major films and television series, joins longstanding ambassador Iris Law in representing the iconic brand.
The campaign, shot by celebrated fashion photographer Tyrone Lebon and director Frank Lebon, takes place against the striking backdrop of the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in New York City. The historic landmark, known for its sweeping curves, mirrors the fluid, sculptural design of David Yurman’s signature Cable collection, which has defined the brand for decades.
The Sculpted Cable collection itself is an evolution of the brand’s iconic Cable design, incorporating a wavelike pattern inspired by the helix shape that David Yurman first crafted for his wife, Sybil. The design remains a symbol of strength, connection, and boundless possibilities, representing a connection to the past while embracing future innovation.
In the campaign, González is depicted wearing pieces from the Sculpted Cable collection, embodying the modern woman who shapes her own destiny. “The greatest creatives in the world have sculpted their own paths,” González says, reflecting on her personal journey of moving from her hometown in Mexico to the United States in pursuit of her career. “It was a challenging leap of faith, but it was the best decision I ever made. It’s so important to design your future.”
The campaign underscores the brand’s belief in self-determination, with González’s portrayal of an empowered woman carving her own path echoing the values embodied by David and Sybil Yurman. González also praises the Yurman family’s legacy in the design world, citing their boundary-pushing approach to jewellery making.
“I really admire that in other people as well, especially David, Sybil, and Evan Yurman who broke boundaries within the design industry and are pioneers in their field,” González continues.
The David Yurman brand, founded in New York by sculptor David Yurman and painter Sybil, has long been a symbol of artistry and craftsmanship. The company, led by their son Evan, is known for its timeless designs, blending innovation with classic beauty.
Commenting on the new campaign, Evan Yurman, President of David Yurman, said, “As we continue to innovate and evolve the hero cable design that has defined our brand for 50 years, we strive to draw further inspiration from the arts. Shooting this campaign with Eiza in such an iconic New York City landscape was a special experience and perfectly represents the essence of this collection.”
The Spring 2025 Women’s Sculpted Cable campaign officially launches on February 14th, 2025, and will be showcased on David Yurman’s official website, as well as across the brand’s global social media channels. For more information on the collection, visit davidyurman.com.
